2026 subspecialty examination in neonatology
Examination site: HUG, Geneva
Dates of examinations:
Written examination: Tuesday, September 15, 2026
Oral examination: Tuesday 17 - Wednesday 18 - Friday 19 November, 2026
The candidates have to pass the written examination in order to be allowed to attend the oral examination.
Registration deadline: June 30, 2026
Admission requirements; Only physicians with a federal medical degree or a foreign medical degree recognized by the FOPH are admitted to the specialist examination (Art. 23 WBO).
Examination fee: CHF 1'500.00
The invoice will be sent to all candidates by the secretariat of the Swiss Society of Neonatology (e-mail: info@neonet.ch) after the registration deadline.
Registrations should include
- a standardized curriculum vitae (download Word template below)
- a copy of the Federal Diploma in Medicine or Mebeko certification
- a copy of the FMH Diploma for general pediatrics or a valid equivalence
